I just had to share this idea! Since Maggie doesn't want to wear anything bit BIG GIRL PANTIES now, I wanted to guard my car seat against accidents.

We have these "piddle pads" which are basically two layers of lightweight fleecey stuff with a thin layer of vinyl inside--like a shower curtain. We've been using them for a million uses since she was born--lining the pack & play, the crib, the changing table, the bed, everything.

I thought it would be nice to go in the car seat, but the crotch buckle got in the way. So I cut a piddle pad in half (to make it the size of the car seat), then zigzagged a giant buttonhole where the crotch buckle could come through. I wish I'd had this before just to keep my seat clean!!!

Those piddle pads are fine when you're wearing clothes, but they're not all that comfy. So, I just undid a double-layer flannel blankie someone gave us when she was little. I'm going to cut a piece of an old shower curtain (unused) to place inside, and then I'll zigzag the edges shut again. This will go in our bed for when she joins us halfway through the night.

Cheap way to protect your bed and car.

Jackierocket wants me to open an etsy shop with piddle pads LOL.

I'd buy one whenever we have a #2!

For S I sprung for a premade version at walmart (devil store! they didn't have them at target) and it was like...$35? It's annoying too, because I have to undo the straps completely to wash it.

Your logo has to be some kind of wee little umbrella. :)
