My mom's making me that sweater!
My inspiration comes from looking at places like Urban Outfitters--where EVERYTHING I see can be made pretty easily.

I feel inspired by people like this:
http://www.livejournal.com/users/ohsewpretty/ ( though I can't crochet to save myself)
http://weewonderfuls.typepad.com/wee_wonderfuls/
http://thesmallobject.blogspot.com/
http://pintuck.livejournal.com/
http://www.livejournal.com/users/mypapercrane/
and http://www.loobylu.com/

as well as, of course, places like craftster.org
I don't really have anything on my 'to do' list at the moment, i'm too busy trying to organise all my screenprinting stuff so i can get started on that. But looking at these sites everyday makes me wish i had more time on my hands.

OH WOW! Look at all the great links and pics and ideas... These are all so fabulous. And PS, I had a friend who was knitting that cardigan. I've been in love with it ever since, but I never got to see it finished since she moved away to grad school.

I've bookmarked about a dozen of these links to go back and study at length... wow.

This site something that has been inspiring me lately: http://www.quiltcollage.com/galleries.htm

I'll have to find links to some of my other favorite quilts. I have piles of old Quilter's Newsletter Magazines that I regularly go through for inspiration, so I may scan a page or a pic if I get a chance. There's a quilt on the cover of one I've been looking through lately that is astounding.

I love the clutch!

I've been attempting to get re-motivated for some bigger sewing projects I've been working on, but I've kind of been side-tracked by all the "softie" goodness all over the place lately.

I blame sublimestitcher for posting this awesome movie over in Glimmer: http://www.brunx.com/stuffed.mov

Flickr fuels all my obsessions courtesy of tags:

And then there's the month of softies (sorry toast. this is a repost!):
http://www.loobylu.com/softies/

And of course, our own pomly:

Hmmm, I guess those are pretty closely related. For me, anyway.

Xuli- I have that pattern and as I recall there is actually not a whole lot of seaming involved. It's currently in storage at my parents, but I'll be sure to pull it out and check for you. Knitting that cardigan is up at the top of my to-do list!

Ooooh ... thanks!

Oh! I am so coming back here when I don't have work to get done!
I love the style of:

-Nick Bantock (writer and designer, Griffin & Sabine series)
-Great packaging. I love the 'Queen' and 'Miso Pretty' lines of bath/ body products.
-Random embroidery that I come across.
-HIgh $ designer fashion makes me want to learn to sew better, and learn how to tailor clothes to better fit my body. As well as embellish. Even the word is fun!

When thinking up new clothing designs, I like to catch up with what others are doing - www.shrinkle.net always makes the coolest things, check out her ebay ME page to see the other DIYers on ebay (like minkie and honeyshop13) who are always creating new things. Very inspiring ideas.
If you want some cute asian design inspiration check out www.iloveegg.com ... it doesn't have anything to do with crafting but is extremely cute and creative. Side effects include song in head and in some extreme cases nausea and vomitting.
