I'm hosting! I need ideas for fast, easy, and CHEAP snacks to put out. And other than a bag of Cool Ranch Doritos, my brain is at a loss. I'm going to spend most of the day cleaning for company, so won't have a lot of prep time.
Any ideas (and all local G* are welcome to come by)?!?!?!? _________________ "Does that mean I have a superhero complex? Well, maybe. But shouldn't there be more heros in the world anyway?" - Moon

Cucumbers, carrot sticks, etc + tzatziki + humus = my go-to quick snacky meal. Put out a bowl of olives and a bunch of dolmadakia (those are cheap here, hope they are cheap where you are!) and you can call a "greek" theme.
Also not expensive: bruschetta. Lemme know if you want some recipes. _________________ The plural of anecdote is not data.

Ended up cupboard diving, due to cleaning.
Brie
Gouda
Veggie crackers
Parm/Garlic Potato Chips
Bruchetta
Fire Raisins
Asiago Cheese Bread
Smoked Salmon
Sliced green apples
For cupboard diving, not shabby! Also mimosas! Make it work! _________________ "Does that mean I have a superhero complex? Well, maybe. But shouldn't there be more heros in the world anyway?" - Moon

Hee - it went over pretty well!
And, sorry, but they were Organic Flame Raisins (ingredients: organic raisins and canola oil) from the Co-Op. I have no idea what makes them "flame-y", but they are yummy! _________________ "Does that mean I have a superhero complex? Well, maybe. But shouldn't there be more heros in the world anyway?" - Moon
