Houndstooth. I long for a houndstooth suit. And coat. And blanket. And car upholstry. And if I had a dog, (and if I went camping and that) I would totally copy this homemade houndstooth dog tent yo.

Agnieszka has a friend named Justin. He did a super great book called Obscene Interiors that is totally rad. Justin has an aunt, in North Dakota, and she does some totally rad things as well. First, there's these modified Monet calendars. Then, there's this amaz-o church banner that she made out of a Mona Lisa blanket. (No deep link, but it was posted to his blog for January 8th.

Katamari Damacy

I'm not much of a gamer. Really really really not much of one. But I do like Katamari Damacy (even tho it makes my hand hurt). It's a game for non-gamers. The game is very visual, and I'm not surprised that it inspires crafters.

Myspace sucks, but occasionally it bears fruit. Casey Spooner has designed this one of a kind water bottle. He's auctioning it off for a benefit. You could probably figure out how to make your own. You know, if you wanted to... Rock on Fischerspooner!

Feltclub in LA

Feltclub is a totally rad LA phenom. It used to be just around the corner from me, which was super special, but even tho it is now down the road further than my bike will take me, I am still going to go. It features a super curated group of crafters selling their wares. Always good stuff and you get to meet the makers. It happens every month. Tomorrow is especially special since my friend Wendy will be pimping her wares.

Spidey

I'm always trying to make friends with spiders. I figure if they are here, they are eating other bugs, and so if I kill spiders it's like increasing the population of all other creepy crawlies. Sometimes I do catch them and wrangle a local to do some spider identification. Still, I'm working on the friend thing. these beautiful ceramics help.
